Ireland’s favourite TV star from the 1980’s, BOSCO was on hand to help WEEE Ireland announce that they are the official recycling partner of SAORVIEW for the digital switchover.  Helped by children’s presenter Diana Bunici and little Connie Keating (4) from Clontarf, the two stars got to grips with some of the thousands of televisions that are expected to be recycled by the scheme in 2012 in the run up to the digital switchover on October 24th. WEEE Ireland also wants to remind people that it’s not all about waste. If you want to save your existing TV you can also upgrade by purchasing a set top box, such as Saorview approved models, prior to the switchover on October 24th. For information on WEEE waste prevention and how to recycle your old TV please log onto: www.recyclefree.ie
