GAY BYRNE TAKES TO THE STREETS TO URGE THE NATION TO GO DIGITAL AS NATIONAL DIGITAL SWITCHOVER WEEK COMES TO A CLOSE
 
As Digital Switchover spokesperson, Gay Byrne is urging the estimated 200,000 households who still need to make the switch to digital TV to do so now during National Digital Switchover Week and in advance of Wednesday October 24th when the analogue TV signal will be permanently switched off.
Organised by the Department of Communications, Energy & Natural Resources (DCENR) in partnership with The Wheel and Irish Rural Link, National Digital Switchover Week concludes this Sunday.
