Mairead McGuinness MEP showed her support to Down Syndrome Ireland at the launch of the Tayto Park Funday in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland. The MEP for Ireland East joined Mr Tayto and a number of children with Down Syndrome at Tayto Park to launch the Funday which will take place on Saturday, 15th September 2012 from 10.00am – 6.00pm.
Over 5,000 people are expected to attend the national family day with all ticket sales raising much needed funds for Down Syndrome Ireland’s nationwide support services to its 3,000 member families, which is in huge demand and under resourced.
