AIB donates 39 major artworks to State and makes available significant additional artworks for public exhibition
Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht , Jimmy Deenihan TD ; along with David Hodgkinson, Chairman of AIB , at AIB Bank Centre, Ballsbridge viewed a Jack B.Yeats painting “A Race in Hy Brazil”. AIB is donating 39 of its most valuable pieces of art to the State and also making available almost 1,000 additional artworks for public exhibition.Twelve major artworks are being transferred to the State immediately.This collection will include various signature artworks by artists including Jack B.Yeats, Sean Keating, Paul Henry, William Scott, Roderic O’Conor, Walter Osborne and Patrick Collins. A further 27 artworks will be transferred to the State over the next two years.
